About the Author:
Sr. Julie was born Marian Mary Morgan in
1868 in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. She entered
the Novitiate in Cincinnati, and studied
in Namur from 1890 until 1892 when she professed
her first vows. She likely returned to Namur
later on to write the History of Our Holy
Rule in 1934. Sr. Julie died in Maryland
Province in 1947. She was quite a prolific
writer both as a woman religious and for
her times.
